About Indiana Association Of Orthodontics
The Indiana Association of Orthodontists is a component of the Great Lakes Association of Orthodontists and a constituent of the American Association of Orthodontists. Members enjoy the benefits of excellent continuing education opportunities with local, regional, and national representation on issues that affect our profession.
Our Mission Statement
Our mission is to serve the interests of Indiana orthodontists by promoting professional and successful orthodontic practice, and to improve oral health in Indiana.
Continuing Education Opportunities
Each year the IAO has 1-2 continuing education meetings to provide 6-8 CEU’s per meeting. For more information on this year’s meeting(s) click here for a link to meetings.
Members must have successfully completed their orthodontic education from an American Dental Association approved school. Applications for membership in IAO are handled by our IAO Board Of Directors.
For More Information, contact the IAO headquarters.
The IAO does not currently have a professional advocacy group at the state level. We do encourage members to attend to attend Indiana’s Dental Day at the Capitol in January. For more information see www.indental.org. Members are also encouraged to attend the Professional Advocacy Conference in Washington D.C. in January of each year.
